Job Title: Student Data Analyst
Reporting to: Digital Manager
Place of Work: The University of York Student Centre, James College, Newton Way, York, YO10 5DD (some remote work available)
Contract: Fixed Term until June 2025 for University of York Students Only
Hours of Work: 10 hours per week during term time, 0 hours per week out of term time, with some overtime hours available within vacation periods
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Closing Date: Wednesday 22nd January at 5pm

Here at The University of York Students Union, we have 2 exciting job opportunities to join our IT team as Student Data Analysts.
About the Role:
Are you a keen problem solver with an interest in turning raw data into actionable insights? And a current student at the University of York, wanting to play an integral part in better understanding our student experience?
If so, we want you to join our Digital team at the Students’ Union! We’re looking for two Data Analysts to join our Digital team as part-time student roles.
The post holder/s will be an excellent communicator with both words and visualisations - someone who can turn complex data into a story that staff understand and use.
The roles are a perfect opportunity for someone who has a strong portfolio and interest in data analysis - you will have a chance to use your skills to drive forwards a period of transformation within the Students’ Union, and have the opportunity to pick up loads more skills whilst you’re at it.
