Reporting to: Senior Content and Communications Lead
Place of Work: The University of York Student Centre, James College, Newton Way, York, YO10 5DD / Potential hybrid options with 3 days a week on campus
Contract: 2 years fixed term internship
Hours of Work: 35 hours a week
Salary: Starting at £25,004 per annum

About the Role:
As the Communications Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Communications Team to deliver strong, impactful content across a range of digital channels.
Working closely with the Senior Content and Communications Lead, you'll support the team in creating engaging social media content, assist with planning key campaigns for the Union (such as Welcome) and collaborate with elected Officers to promote Union services.
This job would be ideal for a recent graduate.This is a full-time (35hrs/wk), fixed term role. Employees must be available to work from campus, with the option for some occasional home working if appropriate for the role and in agreement with their line manager.
